This second leg of my road trip through the mountains was absolutely spectacular! – and no more dirt roads or getting lost in the African bush….;-)
I started from the farm near Aliwal North, first passing through a little town named Lady Gray (how lovely….;-) – until the road suddenly opened into the most amazing scenery!
Distinctly shaped rocks, green meadows and pastures with cows, lovely villages – it was beautiful!
There is not much more to say here really – I’d rather let the pictures speak.
We’ll start with a map – this is a trip I can definitely recommend.
Soon we will reach the ocean near Margate and then drive the last stretch to Durban.….
