No. There used to be services that guaranteed a New York Times Bestseller for about $250,000 per book, but most were shut down by the NYT for shady tactics. The NYT Bestseller List is selected not by # of sales – though that is a factor – but by an Editorial Board which mostly collaborates with the 6 major publishers.

It takes many thousands of sales in one day to make the list and even traditional publishers reserve that marketing push for their big stars. The authors themselves – incl. big names like Lewis Howes, Gary Vaynerchuck or Tim Ferriss – are hugely involved in the planning and often prepare for months, with their large following, to hit that spot.

It is extremely difficult that many sales in ONE day and a $10,000 service wouldn’t even scratch the surface.

No, that is a very complex and expensive task and requires working with book brokers who handle the different store chains.

Managing supply is extremely time consuming and would also require you to have your book bulk printed and then shipped whenever more copies are needed.

Whereas with print-on-demand, Amazon handles everything and only prints a book when someone orders.

Local bookstores often carry books from local authors and you can easily connect with them. Also, do local book readings and tours, if that’s of interest.
